Handcrafted by an Afghan refugee in a village rug cooperative in the Peshawar, Pakistan region, this rug is handknotted with a sarouk weave which is a ridgebacked, double-wefted rug knotting technique common among the Baluch people in the region. It is fashioned with wool warps and wefts,100% wool pile and features a traditional Kazakh design.
It measures 2'10" x 4'5" with an additional 6" in length for the fringe.
