Handcrafted by an Afghan refugee in a village rug cooperative in the Peshawar, Pakistan region, this rug is handknotted with a sarouk weave which is a ridgebacked, double-wefted rug knotting technique common among the Baluch people in the region. It is fashioned with cotton warps and wefts,100% wool pile and features a traditional Beshir design.
It measures 2'7" x 3'11" with an additional 6" in length for the fringe.
