Fair Trade Camerounian Brass Round Disc Bracelet

Handcrafted of recycled brass using the "lost wax" method of casting at an artisans' cooperative in Bamenda, Cameroun, this brass bracelet is a wonderful example of traditional West African ornamentation and design.  The exquisite detail and decoration on the piece were achieved using finely woven wax threads which is a hallmark of "lost wax" casting. The brass alloy was made from recycled metal.  It is 2 1/2" in diameter.
